Hello Bike

Photography class is awesome! Drawing I think is even better. It is so relaxing. We spent the past two class periods (total= 5 hours) listening to music and drawing what we heard. Tonight I worked on the homework way longer than he suggested, but I just couldn't tear myself away- maybe because my other to-do's included writing a paper (ouch!). I mentioned photography first however, because I can download part of my first project here. The project required us to take 30 images of an inanimate object. Thus, here you have my bike.

In other news, I am going to be teaching a "Service Reflection" class on sustainabillity, the environment, and basic simple living. The basis is to teach people here on campus about some of the homemade goodies that you can see here on my blog. I need to be posting some updates on how those are working out, but will need more time. For right, just know I LOVE them ALL. And I'm also working on some more for this class. I do, however, need all of your help. I need to come up with a catchy name for the class and I need any and all ideas you have on what to teach (Aunt Kathy and Jessica... I'm talking to you :)). I do have a budget... not much of one... but I do have one. Thanks for your thoughts and hope you are having a great week!

I will be glad to send some of my ideas also a good source of ideas is the mag Real Simple because they show "other uses" for simple items. Ideas for names.....Back to Basics, Easy and Green, Simple Green, Green 101, just a few off the top of my head , none are very good but maybe you can expand on them. Going to bed, sometimes I dream of good ideas. Who are you teaching the class for, what age? I would have a different theme each time you meet such as green cleaners, green in the bathroom (shampoo/lotions) refurbish furniture, piggyback meals (how to cook for more than one meal) eco-parties, free fun activites, is that the idea or am I really off base??? Wow, the photography class sounds so fun. I'd love to take one! And good luck with the class you're teaching. What about The Simpler Life as a name for it? It's just a suggestion, not a very good one. :)

Yeah I LOVE your class ideas! Of course I would love to invite myself to help. If you need a guest chef speaker or catering:) I did the piggy back meals class at Greenlife and it was GREAT!! Its on my blog right now actually. I will also be managing commercial kitchen space soon...and I was wondering if you might want to work on an all natural green beauty line...You seem to know a lot about these thing and I make lotion "melt" bars all the time. Things to think about...Talk to you soon. BTW Who will be taking the class exactly? Whats your target audience I mean.
